These sliding window treatments are easy to make and can be changed as your child grows. In my daughters younger years the sliding panels where covered in hundreds of pink flowers, as she grew and tastes changed we attached posters. The side facing out is painted black, so all those times that kids don't pull back the window treatments the look outside is black, so you can't tell! The headboard is made from MDF and faux finished in a dry bushed technique. A plastic corrugated roofing material was curved to hide the dressing and make-up area. The area behind the headboard houses a computer area.
