Residence
Update to a bad 80's remodel. The project included removing a wingwall adjacent to the counter, opening up the whole space to light. Cabinets are western maple with quilt and curl. Wood was sourced from www.gobywalnut.com. Flooring is a light colored marble with electric radiant heat. The tile runs from floor to ceiling in the bath area.
A racetrack circulation was replaced with a separated toilet room with an interior frosted window to let light in from skylights above, but maintain privacy.
Rackety exhause fans were replaced by a whisper quiet Fantech system that wisks away steam and stink. Closets with bifold doors that bumped into eachother were replaced with built in closets with sliding louvered doors and a new access door to the attic space for seasonal clothing storage.
The overall project turned a dark hole into a light and airy bathroom with lots of accessible storage.
