Not-So-Big-House
This project was a complete house knock-down and rebuild and meets all of the demands of a contemporary work-live lifestyle incorporating many sustainable and energy-saving features like radiant floor heat in the bathrooms, a wood-burning fireplace insert, Anderson low-E glass, and a combination of closed-cell foam and fiberglass insulation. The original ranch-style home was demolished and a new, architecturally designed residence used the same footing footprint as the original structure. Metcalfe Architecture & Design.
