Moving into a New Home: Custom Window Treatments, Art Placement, Furniture, more
The living room looks out to the backyard and pool, and is the location where much of her Asian art is displayed. Two red Jessica Charles swivel rockers can turn toward the sofa, toward the fireplace, or toward the pool, depending on what is going on. The sofa, wing chair, and footstool were reupholstered. The two larger table lamps were purchased for this space, as was the modern silver planter box on the mantle. The result was a living room which is used daily, and whose colors flow through the rest of the home. The custom pillows on both the sofa and swivel chairs were brought from her Alexandria home.
