Minnetonka Modern Master Bath
The homeowner of this 1926 South Minneapolis home wanted to update her master bath, which was added in the 1980’s, and take it from outdated to a serene space she could truly enjoy. To create a more functional space, the entire room was gutted and the giant soaking tub removed. Slate grey porcelain tile on the floor and shower walls creates a sleek modern look. A niche was added both in the shower and by the bath tub for quick reach items. A custom vanity replaces the pedestal sink for added storage. Maintaining the more modern appeal, an open shelving unit was put in next to the shower for both storage and display. The bathroom now feels sleek and tranquil and is a space the homeowner will appreciate for years to come.
