Amazing kitchen transformation! A dark and dated kitchen has been transformed to a bright, light and updated kitchen which now ties nicely to the adjoining family room. Due to a flood in the kitchen, island replacement was a MUST! In the spirit of being budget conscious, we repurposed as much as possible, even the kitchen faucet! We designed a custom built, oversized island (with bonus storage), perfect for entertaining. Choosing the counter height island was a great choice, making the kitchen, breakfast room and family room an open and cohesive great room. Gone are the black laminate countertops, dark backsplash and dated golden oak stain! We replaced the dishwasher (of course!), sink and cooktop.
