'House of The Future' - BRE Watford
We were asked to design and manufacture a staircase to be part of a concept house built by a major UK Home builder for an architect who won a competition run in the Daily Telegraph to design a Zero Carbon House. The staircase is made from European Oak and features chrome plated spindles and a bespoke handrail to accommodate the specialist fixings of the spindles (off the side rather than under the handrail). The top flight is open to allow the circulated air system to flow around the first and second floors making the property fully Eco-friendly.
