Matching colour and style is always our aim. When we were first contacted by the owners of this South Yarra residence, the project had already commenced. The style of the house was modern and they were installing a custom designed staircase.In order to enhance the Japanese-inspired style, our suggestion to the owner was to create a structural feeling to give the impression that the staircase was a suspended piece of architecture.
We created a highly textured Industrial Concrete block wall coating (ISTINTO), finished with a tinted wax to match perfectly with the black Japanese timber. The result was stunning; this dramatic insdustrial background perfectly enhanced the fine crystal artwork chandelier from Murano (Italy) .
The owners were thrilled, giving us recognition on what we do best; exploring, advising and creating wall finishes that delight, endure and add value and elegance. To us, this rewarding gift of recognition of our artistic talents and superior workmanship, reflects our company's mission.
