bulthaup dark aluminium kitchen in farmhouse
This photo by our installation manager, David Barfield, shows how well a contemporary kitchen can sit in a traditional space. The client has brought light into room through the roof lights and maintained the traditional feel by exposing the original brickwork and beams. The dark grey aluminium kitchen has natural aluminium edges to each door and drawer front to emphasise the pure lines of bulthaup. The worktop is silestone, with an induction hob set into the island and a sink plus draining area into the wall run. Note the roller shutter unit at the end of the worktop, making good use of the space for storage, whilst hiding kettle, toaster etc.
