Bishopthorpe Road
This beautiful 3-storey Victorian era town house is situated in Bishopthorpe Road in York. The clients for this project had a wish to extend their current home for their young growing family. This included expanding the ground floor to introduce a utility and separate office space, the extension of the kitchen and opening out the lounge space to create an enlarged living area.
With careful space planning to sensitively respond to the narrow rear plot and with being in close proximity to the neighbouring properties, we were able to create a sleek, modern interior that retains a traditional external appearance that the family can enjoy for years to come.
