Bespoke RSJ covers for Cumbrian farmhouse
Our client wanted to cover some RSJ's with oak covers but wanted them to look authentic like they have always been there.
After taking the sizes required, the colour and appearance was discussed.
The lower edges were given shaping to give an uneven look and they were brushed to give texture and also flamed which slightly darkens the cracks & knots to give an aged effect. They were then finished with a traditional wax which gives a lovely warm look, perfect for this lovely farmhouse.
