Abercromby Place, Edinburgh

This en-suite wet room in Abercromby Place was originally an underground vault with a traditional arched ceiling. The metal door to the original room still exists but has been sealed off in favour of a new glass door which leads from the the bedroom. The tiny blue mosaic tiles give a uniform, almost subterranean feel to the space which is equipped with sink, large rain shower and hand-held shower. Sonos speakers are embedded in the walls to offer a choice of music while relaxing in the shower.
