    This is most likely two slabs from same lot and the pieces are book matched. It is beautiful isn't it?

    We've done these on several of our kitchens. It's called a "waterfall" end because the stone appears to run down the end like a waterfall. It usually only works if your slab is long enough to get the top and end from one continuous piece.

    The island is made of Zebrino Marble. It took 2 slabs that were book matched. We have a great fabricator that knows what they are doing!
