kitchen remodel

Can’t figure out what to do with this wall of kitchen cabinets. Remodel will install dark hardwood in place of carpet. Cabinet uppers will be gone with wood floating shelves to the left. Cabinets will be painted white with quartz thick edge on top. New base boards. Will this look like a wall of white ugliness in the sunk-in living room?

    Terrific idea painting them white, this will help them blend a lot more! I like the idea of adding paneling to them. Here are a few photos for inspo. Good luck, such a nice improvement. It's going to look great!

    Drywall that section and it just becomes a half wall. Then you can put furniture against it.

    If that area is useful for living room furniture then I agree with @Rachel Lee - dry wall it.
