    Hi Elizabeth, these are units for new construction by Jeld Wen, with wood frames, wood sash, fixed wood muntins inside and out, shop primed inside and out for field paint. While the sash and frame units were furnished by Jeld Wen, and then painted black on the exterior in the field by the painters, the white casings and sills are field cut and installed by the carpenters, field painted white.

    Hi Elizabeth - we didn't participate in the selection of paint colors . On this project, the contractor worked with Birgitte Pearce on colors - she has a page here on Houzz, perhaps you can contact Birgitte.
