Kitchen area lightning questions. Thank you!
Hello, I'm remodeling this section of my house, they just removed a couple of walls in my kitchen area, hurray! picture one, from left to right: the entrance, the eating area and kitchen, new cabinets are coming soon. The second picture still has the old cabinets to give you an idea of the similar layout we will have there (without the cabinets on top between the eating and kitchen area). My question is about lighting: I will have under cabinet lights, recesses lights on the ceiling and I'll change the entrance light fixture. No pendant light above the eating area, I think. Do I need a light fixture on top of my right window? that's the one above the sink, or just a recess light will look good. Oh and the new cabinets are off white, a light cream cambria countertop and floors are a light hickory. --A transitional look.-- Any lighting fixture suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you!
