Is shortening the hang of the bulbs possible, what's shortest?

Assume the length of the cord/bulbs from the base can vary (I see 28" is longest). Confirming this, as well as the shortest length should there be one.

    These all hang at the same length and it is 28" from the base. They can be shortened upon arrive to you but not lengthened. If you want to adjust the length, just let us know and we can make it at whatever length you would like. You can let us know here once you place your order. If you need them to be considerably longer then it will be $2 per foot extra.
