Living Room Update Ideas?
I've been trying to update my living room for the past few months (not over the holidays). I bought new furniture, white and gray, I painted the walls from beige to gray with and smoky blue around the windows, and I'm trying to accent in cobalt/navy blues. The room doesn't look finished to me. I would love to get some ideas and suggestions. Excuse the pups on their perch!

(6) commentiPuoi spostare la libreria? Se possibile aiuterebbe molto mettere il divano davanti alla finestra e la libreria di fronte (e non di lato). Poi oltre ad un bel tappeto, potresti scegliere tende uguali e fino a terra per la finestra e la portafinestra (magari in lino ... le trovi anche da ikea). Se puoi spendere un po' cambia tavolo e sedie (tristi tristi) con qualcosa di un po' più bello che magari porterai nella tua prossima casa e sistemalo verso la portafinestra. E affianca al divano dei pouf o dei cuscinoni da appoggiare a terra per gli amici. La parete dove ora è la libreria puoi dipingerla o riempirla di belle foto.... mostra di piùAIUTO! (8) commentiSalve Sara, scusa se non ho risposto prima ma oggi é stata una giornata di quelle al lavoro.. Comunque tornando a noi, tieni conto che la pianta così come la vedi a video é già orientata (N verso l'alto, S verso il basso) quindi con la TV posizionata sulla parete in basso tra le due porte finestre il problema controluce si porrebbe in caso solo dal primo pomeriggio in poi e al massimo fino al tramonto la sera durante le giornate più lunghe dell'anno, anche se credo che già dal tardo pomeriggio la zona TV venga poi coperta e riparata dall'angolo che forma la parte della cucina! Quindi si tratterebbe solo di alcune ore pomeridiane mal che vada. Spero di essermi spiegato abbastanza bene.. Non ho capito poi come intendevi tu mettere il divano a L, se un lato contro il muro comunque o meno, ed anche il mobile basso sul retro del divano o sulla parte cieca da 130cm che dicevi? Non capisco scusami.. E grazie poi comunque per la proposta ma diciamo che di solito sull'arredo d'interni ho già le idee abbastanza chiare, vuoi per via del mio gusto personale che anche per il lavoro che faccio (Geometra), con l'hobby e la passione per l'arredamento d'interni e il design appunto! Anzi se hai bisogno di un consulente quando magari sei oberata sono a disposizione per scambiare correnti di pensiero e gusto. Volevo solo condividere delle idee con gente del mestiere e sicuramente più esperta di me per sapere che ne pensavano. (7) commentiBuongiorno Valentina. Qui più che un consiglio servirebbe un progetto vero e proprio, per evitare errori di cui pentirsi in seguito e vivere al meglio la nuova casa. Sono d'accordo con Fabricamus: la zona a giorno è sottodimensionata rispetto alla zona notte e rendere la camera al piano terra singola e una delle due al piano superiore matrimoniale è un ottima soluzione.Non è l'arredamento ad essere sproporzionato, ma è lo spazio che è scarso. Se non fosse possibile dilatare la zona giorno, a grandi linee le consiglio di aumentare lo spazio contenitivo utilizzando tutta la parete di fondo della cucina e realizzando una penisola. Farei un mobile soggiorno sulla parete di 410 ed eliminerei un divano. Spero di esserle stata utile. (18) commentiAngela, di proposte ce ne sarebbero parecchie da fare, ma bisognerebbe avere un idea più dettagliata del progetto compreso l'arredo. La cosa migliore sarebbe quella di prendere un progettista che sappia di illuminotecnica (merce rara) e farsi fare un progetto d'illuminazione, ma è ovvio che ha un costo. In questo caso ti gestirebbe sia la parte d'illuminazione che quella di predisposizione dei controssoffitti e delle eventuali contropareti a carico dell'impresa. Un consiglio che ti posso dare in alternativa è individuare altrimenti uno show room multi brand di illuminazione (di buon livello) nella tua zona e chiedere a loro un progetto dettagliato per le forniture, Normalmente lavorano a disegno. Io ne conosco diversi e lavorano molto bene. Il rischio di affidarsi ai forum è quello ricevere buoni consigli a spot per quella o quell'altra zona ma creare poi confusione sulla complessità del progetto. Se sei fortunata magari trovi anche chi ti fa un progettino online, ma dubito che un professionista bravo e competente abbia il tempo di fare un progetto integrato a titolo gratuito!... mostra di piùSandy

6 anni faThis is a beautiful room and those windows are gorgeous . I would go with off white but I guess its too late now .

6 anni faAgree with above that mirror and artwork need to be relocated. I actually like your gray wall color with your wood trim, however the accent wall painted the same consistent color throughout your space would make those beautiful windows and angles of your space pop and be a focal point. Agree, no window treatments unless privacy is a concern. Height and contrast in coffee table would balance the space. You have selected nice furnishings but just need some tweaking. The rug is not placed symetrical as arrows pointing to the areas of correcting the placement. Black dark coffee table for contrast and simple lines. I think you have a table behind your sofa? Lamps possibly could go there for height. Assumed you have floor outlets as lamps flanking sofa on tables. Floor lamp in corner behind chairs for height and visual interest for harmony without competing with stairs and window. Best of luck....

6 anni faI think you need to hang curtains first on the side windows from the ceiling; leave the window wall alone; it is beautiful. Then think about taking all your ART and start designing a gallery wall first on the floor that will go on the stair case wall all the way down to the ground floor. Start at the top over the console table and use what you have and then over the next year as you collect art add to it and let it expand as you like it. Then be brave and leave all the other walls brave and let their bareness be the design element...you have made some really lovely choices I think! Love it.
Random including the colors in the room and then some but 2/3 BIG and 1/3 smaller. Keep pics about 3-5 inches apart I think, but play with it.

6 anni faUltima modifica: 6 anni faWe love what you have started to do with your space, it just seems like it needs a few more things to be just right. Why not try one of your art pieces above the acrylic table since you said you already tried the mirror and it didn't work? The sailboat or white framed piece might work. It does look like a lot of the pieces hung around the room are a bit random, so you might want to take the other pieces down for now (the sailboat and mirror specifically). Perhaps try an arc lamp in the corner where the sailboat piece is currently? This might add great interest in that area. Also to connect the chairs to the rest of the room it might be nice to see some lumbar pillows with white and navy in them on the chairs. We've included a few of our designs below to help guide you. Note how in the first photo we have an arc lamp, and pillows of various colors from the artwork we used on the sofa? In the second photo we used a great piece of artwork over a nice statement piece in a living room for one of our clients.
