    2nd one -- simplest, most practical (thinking of how we'd use it), most seating, and the door is gorgeous.

      I Like the 1st space because of the windows but The simplicity of the second one, alo g with the wood benchtop appeal to me most.

      I like the first one but cannot see the flooring they used. Love the bench color in the second option.

      I like the first one because there is more room to talk to people as they are getting their coats and shoes. We have a square two-benched mudroom and I find that conversations are still flowing nicely as people are leaving.

      I like the second one. Having a tile flooring is a must for mud rooms, and it's simple.

      I voted for the second one because of the tile floor and the long wall you could put kid's art.

      No. 1. Seems to have the best storage and it's more like a "room" vs. a hallway. I don't see hallway entries as "mud rooms".

      The 2nd is number 1 in my eyes. I like the different textures in the room.

      There's plenty of light too.
