Pool builder recommendation - Tampa, Fl
Anyone recommend a pool builder in the Tampa, FL area?
We received two quotes(1 from existing home builder and another from a pool builder).
Home builder is quoting about 60K to build a pool and spa and the pool builder was slightly lower.
Here are the specs:
Pool(~45K) includes size upto 275 sq.feet, 3'-5' deep and includes steps, bench, lights, variable speed pool pump,
cartridge filter, chlorine feeder. Also, included standard pavers and screen cage(mesh) with 2 doors on either side.
Spa(~15K) - this is for a raised concrete raised spa.
Our community has natural gas so we have the option of using electric or natural gas to heat the pool but heating the pool was NOT part of the quote.
Initially, our budget was $35K for pool+spa.
Should we get more price quotes ?

6 anni faPinellas Marcite repaired and resurfaced our pool recently. They did a great job. I would trust any installer they recommend. They have been in business a long time. Call Sue at 727-526-1596.

6 anni faChoosing the right contractor is the toughest part of the pool building process. Search for the local pool contractor websites and a certified one. Check for referrals. Remember to get it into writing all the claims affecting purchases, construction, or warranty. Do your research well and don't rush into any decision. Bear in mind the famous cliche "Paralysis by Analysis" simply because it is a project with hundreds of moving parts.
Only a right contractor can inspire confidence in you. Make it a point to visit the pool showroom. Find how knowledgeable the employees are.
Remember to check for what makes them separate from others. Their main technology. A good camaraderie is required between the builder and the customer.
Pool and landscape design in Brampton suggest that you should know your rights well and that finance contract has a 3-day rescission clause which won't affect the pool contract. A contract signed by the customer will not be binding on the pool contractor until signed by the officer of the firm.
Go through all the docs with utmost attention. Good contractors would have plenty of reading with golden nuggets of information.
