In comparison to the Ash Gotland, how much 'sandier' or lighter are these floors? Also, how much do they darken with age? Thanks.

    Sandivig is significantly lighter due to the white stain we put on the floor. It subdues the contrast between light and dark in each plank significantly more than Gotland. Gotland is much more stark. Regarding color change, the darks will darken and the lights will lighten over time, making this a floor that ages wonderfully since most buyers like the contrast.

    We market and sell Sandivig rather than Gotland because we feel it's the perfect harmony of light and dark in such a beautiful species such as Ash.
