Round or rectangular?

I have a small entry way. Is a round 36"table or a rectangular table that is 36" by 48" best for a small space? I currently have a round 45" table that gets in the way as it is.

    If you want more space 36" round. I think the question was why a table in your entry?

      Thank you all for your advice. My apartment is very small so options are limited as to where to put my kitchen table. Here are some updated photos.

      I agree. No black on walls and doors.

      The lilac , white and green look fresh and bright together. Adding black is going to make a dark hole in the room. You might want to stick with a soft white.

      great input, I will go with shades of white, add mirrors and hints of lavender and thats it. To keep the space looking fresh.
