Need ideas for an empty corner of living room

I would love some ideas for how to fill an empty corner of our living room. So far, I've though about the following: an open shelving unit (like this: http://www.ballarddesigns.com/wilton-c3a9tag-c3a8re/245526); a room divider/screen (http://www.wisteria.com/Quatrefoil-Folding-Screen/productinfo/T11377 or http://www.ballarddesigns.com/lexi-panel-screen/furniture/living-room/accent/355387); or a separate seating nook. I would prefer to not add a lot of clutter or large pieces of furniture. Here are a few photos...looking forward to suggestions!

    I think I would try swapping the placement of the two matched chairs and small table with the single armchair. I don't think you need anything else in the room. Nice space.

      I would put the tv there on a console. It looks awfully high up there. If not, leave it empty.

      That corner is the perfect place for the TV, on a wall-mounted swivel arm. As it is, the TV is far too high for proper viewing.

      My thought exactly, swap the 2 chairs for the one chair and see how it looks.

      Put the chair on corner of rug facing sofa with table and lamp

      You need a lamp in the space.

      I'd move the chair over a tad on an angle similar to Susans pic, or keep at the same angle you have it, scootch over a bit and between fireplace and chair get a huge beautiful chunky basket and put tall,large fiddle leaf fig in it. Or do exactly like Susan suggests in her pic, but add the fig behind it.

      I like Susan's and Willow's suggestions. The room will look more balanced and finished. OR you can place the chair in the corner but not too far, place a floor reading lamp on the left of the chair ( there is an outlet on the wall for it), add a small side table on the right of the chair. You can decorate the side table with a couple of books and a tea light holder and suddenly you will get a cozy nook instead of an empty corner.

      I think the two side chairs that you have angled should be facing straight.
