Multi-colored bathroom
I just bought my first house. It was built in 1948. The upstairs bathroom is... colorful. I don't really have the money to redo it right now but I'd like to make it a little easier on the eyes in the short term.
I need ideas for the wall color. Obviously the blue isn't working. I don't hate the pale yellow and black, but with the white floor and weird green tub... there are too many colors in such a small space. Should I paint the wall white to match the floor and sink? Or black to blend in with the black tile border? Any other recommendations?
Also any ideas to replace the light fixture would be greatly appreciated.

Dopo un paio di notti passate a pensare, ho realizzato che il pavimento scuro (resina, finto parquet, laminato etc etc)-per quanto mi piaccia tantissimo - non si può proprio mettere nel bagno al piano terra di una casa in campagna con 3 tigrotte travestite da bimbe di 10, 7 e 5 anni!!! Sarebbe un incubo: mi immagino tutti i segni delle scarpe impolverate...dovrei passare le mie giornate (già belle cariche!) a pulire il bagno! Secondo voi potrei optare per un color sabbia anche per il pavimento che risulta un po' rosato?... mostra di piùarredo bagno consiglio piastrelle

8 anni faThe only time you see the tub with a shower curtain is if you are taking a shower or visiting a house and snooping while using the bathroom! So let's ignore the tub color and concentrate on white walls and yellow tile. I would go pretty with a busy pattern like in photo one! Or go crazy. Embrace the colors and have fun with it... Hence the octopus and birds. Or go graphic with black and white to acknowledge black tile trim! White bath mat and towels! You are on your way.

8 anni fa@miacometlady The house itself was built well back in 1948, but there are a lot of poor choices made since then and quite a few DIY mistakes.
Luckily the downstairs bathroom isn't so offensive and I actually don't mind the very retro vibe.
