What's your Favorite Style Of Staircase?

In the modern world of social media and the ease of airing one's opinions (wanted or not!) people often seek the guidance of the professionals rather than, in the not so distant past, take the opinion of "I know best, you don't know me or what I want". This being said I am often asked what my favorite style of staircase is. Obviously different styles suit different situations but come on everyone has a favorite right? I'd love to know what the voice of Houzz has to say! :)

    I've voted for ultra modern because that is what I'd like most in my own house. The type of staircase with treads that are fixed by way of cantilever (is that the right word?) so they appear to be almost floating. That said, my ultimate favourite would be a double helix staircase similar to the one at Chambord in France. We can all dream...
