    Mennodude, I just saw your post. Have you found what you want? As an Energy Rater and involved with Energy Star for homes I want to suggest to you that almost any home can be energy efficient. It is a matter of paying attention to details during construction and making good choices based on your budget and your goals when planing the project and during construction. I recommend finding an Energy Rater to help you with your plans and then use a contractor that is familiar or willing to learn the details of building a high performance home.
