Sources of large artwork pieces

Being on a not so great budget, I have looked without much success for large paintings, large B&W prints, sculptures. I will be in NYC in December. Suggestions as to where I should go. Web sites? I love the simplicity of contemporary with the unexpected addition of a retro or antique, or simply unusual piece to awaken the mind to what the eye sees! Thank you. I have bare walls and shelves waiting!

    I wish I could help you, but the owner sourced all this artwork. That said,there are many great galleries in NYC- try Chelsea. Good luck!

    The colors make me think of Alfredo Ceibal, a Guatemalan "outsider" artist that some would also characterize as "magical realism". This is more abstract than most of his work, but he's been moving in that direction. http://alfredoceibal.net/categorias_i.asp?clc=90

    You won't find my work in a New York gallery, but I have many happy clients and collectors. After many years creating large scale paintings and mosaics, I've just recently started doing contemporary abstract mosaics, which are a fraction of the cost. They can be enlarged and printed on metal or acrylic for a very cool look that is perfect for lofts. I know because I live in one.
