    I would for some contrast to all the wood or if not then a nice area rug under the table and chairs

    I am not sure what you have hanging from the ceiling, can't make it out, but if you drop a nice Pendant style fixture to take away some of the lime light, I think the fireplace looks nice. Also when you put furniture in the room, it will also take away some of the attention from the wall. The picture I am attaching is only an example of what I mean by Pendant, however, this fixture would probably look nice.
