Great south side exterior with deck to shade lower level and great railing. CHRIS: VERY NICE. SIMILAR TO PEA'S "HOUSE ON A HILL" PROJECT: A NARROWER "WALKWAY" FOR OPTIMAL SHADING OF LOWER LEVEL WINDOWS, RATHER THAN A DEEPER DECK, WHICH SHADES TOO MUCH. Pam: we were thinking a door from the bedroom to the deck and one from the great room as well. And us, like the House On A Hill. Narrow for summer shade and allow winter solar gains.
