Yuck sorry but really I would never want to work out in a dark room . Infact I only ever join gyms with actual windows to be able to see outside.

Ok so I went to the stone yard and got samples one sealed one not and they both etched even after just 30 seconds of lemon juice on it. I asked for a refund and now they are ignoring my calls and texts. Any advice what to do here

A u shaped home can be so lovely as others have said but somehow yours has become large and cumbersome. It needs to be smoothed out quite a bit with less angles. Also many of the spaces double as hallways to really need to be bigger to accommodate people going through them. The living space is very fear from the kitchen/dining. To me that would not be a good match
