For a deep, comfortable couch that pulls the room together, a cloud couch style sofa might be exactly what you're picturing they're specifically known for extra depth and plush comfort, which fits what you described. Since you're also working around orientation (avoiding facing south), just keep in mind deep sectionals/sofas can be heavier to reposition later, so it's worth confirming the exact spot before ordering. I wrote a guide covering comfort, depth, and pricing for these if it helps: smartdecoretips.com/cloud-couch-guide

@amrita2 Of the two rugs, I would definitely choose the blue one. I think it works much better with your room and especially with the blue sofa. The lighter background keeps it from feeling too dark, while the blue in the pattern ties everything together nicely. The floral rug is pretty on its own, but to me it leans a little more rustic/boho, which doesn’t fit the more classic, elegant character of your furniture quite as well.

For the windows, I personally wouldn’t add blinds. I think they could make the room feel a little too structured, while your furniture has a softer, more classic look. I’d go with simple, solid-color, full-length curtains instead, hung high and extending all the way to the floor. Warm ivory, light cream, or a very soft greige would look beautiful here and would also balance the stronger blue of the sofa and rug.

By the way, there’s also a link to the curtains in the description of the video I shared earlier in this discussion."
