JDD Wine Cellars, LLCCustom wine room designed, fabricated and installed with clients rustic tones in mind. Knotty alder, full glass entry with a viewing window from the adjacent room immediately details a stone, cave-like entry into the wine room. Individual bottles, display, bulk storage and presentation shelves adorn this inviting space. Displays are all accented with LED lights on a dimmable transformer. Unique ceiling and wall sconce light fixtures provide just enough light to easily identify all labels. A wine cellar cooling system is hidden in a dead corner of the racking so as not to interfere with the décor or capacity.

Vintage CellarsA traditional wine cellar built in the basement storage area. High volume storage with a touch of display was the focus of the room.
This beautifully rustic and modern custom wine cellar in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California is inside one of your favorite A-List Celebrity's home. The design of the cellar was centered around a large amount of bottle storage with minimal wine displays. This unique space also has room for wine case storage, as well as horizontal display on top of high reveal display.
Prior to proper vapor barrier and insulation being installed into the room, this space was a simple basement storage area. The entire room was gutted, and stripped down to the studs. A 6mm plastic was placed covering every wall and crevice to ensure that the room would be sealed completely. Spray foam insulation was applied three inches thick around, followed by green board mold resistant drywall.
The racking is made of all heart redwood - a fantastic choice for a custom wine room such as this. Redwood is great to use because of its ability to resist rot and mold, as well as looking great (or even better) as the wood cures over time.
The large wine cellar has room for unique large format bottles, as well as special champagne bottle display. It was a pleasure working on this project - the owner is a great guy (and host too) and we look forward to working together again.

Affinity Home & DesignThis wine cellar was built on the lover level of a residence in Sherwood, OR. The space was literally dug our of a crawl space and constructed from ground up in the sub-terrain to maximize temperature and climate control. The space itself is designed to hold up to 2,000 bottles of wine on the custom built maple framing. The floor is a high gloss polished concrete and the ceiling is overlaid with bronze paneling.
