Aspen Leaf Kitchens has worked with Collin for a few years on a couple of different projects. Each project has been a very pleasant experience. I retained Colin to provide interior design services in regard to the total renovation (to the exterior stud walls) of a high rise Penthouse. It was a complete pleasure to work and collaborate with Colin. His professional expertise and experience made a decisive difference in our ability to achieve our aggressive investment goals for this project. Colin's many observed talents include the following: 1) a great listener who understands the owner's design objectives and then translates them into a robust and sophisticated design template (including a valuable capacity to respectfully challenge owner sentiments when appropriate), 2) tremendous sensitivity to the economics of construction scheduling and the importance of adhering to timelines; and a willingness to surge his own efforts when necessary to assure that the project is not delayed on account of a missing/incomplete design consideration, 3) an impressive network of high quality trade and vendor relationships - every single individual recommended by Colin performed exactly as promised and with high quality, and 4) a seemly encyclopedic knowledge of finish items of every conceivable category. Everyone on my team had deep respect for Colin and his exceptional breadth of knowledge. Design elements often impact multiple trade and sub-contractor teams. Colin was able to go into the "deep end" with every single trade - from framing, drywall, electrical, plumbing, etc... Getting team buy in quickly to non-standard finish items is critical for assuring the maintenance of a high tempo schedule. In closing, Colin's design vision and team play provided a huge impact to project success.
