The designer we liked working with left Ivy Street mid project. After that our project was mishandled. We were told significant post-bid price increases 3 days before breaking ground were commonplace in the industry, except we had gone through the process at our prior home and that didn’t happen.

We wanted to create a special backyard space for our new home and, after a lot of research, we selected five different companies to submit a design proposal. We met with each company and all had some great ideas, but from the start we were especially impressed with Ainslie and Ivy Street Design. At our first meeting, she took the time to get to know us and really understand our ideas and how we planned to use the new space. She came up with an amazing design that covered everything on our wish list and more. She was great about giving us her professional opinion and helping us come up with better ideas and options. Ainslie helped us through the selection of a landscape contractor and we ended up going with Aspen Falls, who did a terrific job. She visited the jobsite every week and was great about communicating with us and helping make sure that everyone was on the same page. When issues came up, she was right there to help get them addressed in a timely manner. The entire process from design to installation was better than anything we could have expected. We are so happy we had the chance to work with Ainslie and Ivy Street Design and would have no hesitation working with them again or recommending them to someone else. They definitely exceeded our expectations.

We hired Ivy Street Design to do a complete remodel of our back yard. Ainslie created a beautiful design and managed the project expertly. We are thrilled. Highly recommend!

Kaylin Kittle from Ivy Street Design absolutely nailed the design for the back yard remodel of our duplex in West Washington Park in Denver, Colorado. She arrived with her initial plan in December 2018. After very minimal changes to her intuitive and imaginative plan, she helped us through the bidding process and we were able to select the perfect landscaping partner-C and H Landscaping. Construction began in April 2019 and was completed in May 2019. Our weekly meetings with Kaylin and the C and H professionals helped immensely with staying on track and completing our project on time. Thank you Kaylin. We have been enjoying our Denver oasis all summer and fall. Can't wait to get that firepit going!

Ian and Ivy Street Design were fantastic to work with as he designed our front and back yard. Ian was kind and patient as our home renovation was delayed, therefore delayed final plans. He listened and implemented our design requests for our growing family . He provided great suggestions and alternatives for hardscape. We love our new outdoor spaces!

I first found Ivy Street Design randomly on Houzz as I liked some photos. When I found out they were located in my area, I immediately contacted them as part of our initial interview process. Needless to say, we fell in love with Kaylin and hired Ivy Street for our design process. From the consultation to design to the implementation phase, we were past impressed with Kaylin’s design ideas, input, involvement, and follow through. She was honest and had amazing recs for the design phase. And when we completed our plans, she was present throughout the entire implementation process with the chosen contractor. She visited regularly during the phase to ensure compliance with the formal drawings. She obviously had an amazing relationship with our contractor and they often reached out to her for clarification. The project turned out amazing-this is truly because of our relationship with Kaylin and because of the expertise of IVY Street Design. Kaylin turned our vision into an amazing reality- from the outdoor kitchen, to the fireplace sitting area, to the pergola/swinging day bed design, to the landscaping-Our oasis is pure heaven! Ivy Street Design: Today is the last day if the summer. The kids go back to school tomorrow. I wanted to take moment to say another THANK YOU. We spent our entire summer in our yard, which we now refer to as The Resort. Why go anywhere, really, when we can feel like we are on vacation in our own home? This summer, we spent countless hours on our hammock. I got into the habit of going out there late at night, listening to music, and watching the stars. We shared so many delicious meals with friends and family on our huge, perfectly-sized-for-us porch. We ate almost every meal outside and, whether we were one or five or 15 people, the scale always felt right. We made smores with our kids and friends a number of times every week. We're harvesting SO many veggies from our garden which we don't even have to babysit since it waters itself. We've met so many neighbors walking by, and have been loving the public/private nature of our yard. And, we're always in awe when we remember what used to be where we're sitting. What can I say? You took a space that was unusable and wasted and designed it in such a way that has allowed our family to hang out, enjoy each other, and relax together. We are grateful.

We bought a suburban new build and found Ivy Street after a lot of research. Every exchange with Ainslie, Wendy and their team was positive and the final product is truly a show-stopper in a neighborhood where it would have been easy to throw some sod down and call it a day. We cannot wait to see it mature, and have the opportunity to upgrade the front of the house to match the back.

We worked with Ainslie O'Neil. She listened to and included every detail of what we wanted in the plan to come up with a beautiful design. She stayed very involved throughout the project. When glitches occurred, she responded quickly. We are now enjoying a lovely, functional new space.

We love our new backyard space! Ainslie's vision of a cozy and functional surrounding has come to life. Her project planning diligence and follow through during installation made the process very easy. Most importantly, her designers touch has surpassed our expectations.

In planning to sell our Park Hill home, we decided to remove the pool and remodel our small back yard area. Although a somewhat smaller project, there were challenges as we also needed to improve house drainage, remodel and rebuild the master bedroom deck, and design the project in a way that blended well with our Mediterranean style home and perennial gardens. We worked with Kaylin Kittle and Ivy Street during the late fall of 2016 to consider many design options and then continued our team approach for getting multiple bids, selecting a contractor, and implementing the project to completion. Kaylin and Ivy Street were excellent partners for our project! From the beginning, she listened to our concerns and desires, and presented multiple options for re-design. Once we decided on our plan, she facilitated us through the bidding and selection process smoothly and efficiently. Finally, she guided us through implementation and to project completion (a greater challenge because it was during Jan-Feb-Mar winter months). Again, while our project was smaller, it had several complications including removal of a pool in a small backyard area. Kaylin and Ivy Street were excellent to work with and I recommend them without hesitation. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly, communicative, thorough, flexible, and continually engaged are all positive traits that apply to Kaylin and Ivy Street Design. Our project was completed on time, on budget, and really with minimal frustration to us due to the excellent leadership of Kaylin and Ivy Street. It feels great to have this project behind us!
