Jake’s Drafting Service, Inc. was incorporated in July 1987 based upon the need for professional graphics in both the engineering fields and private sectors. Our goal has always been to provide the highest possible quality output while staying within our client’s budget. To accomplish this we use the latest in computer drafting technology, 3D modeling software and our expert knowledge of the latest codes and regulations. Over the past 25 years we have become one of the most trusted designers of log homes in the mountain area, with houses featured in Log Home Living and Western Life Style magazines. Though we specialize in log homes, we are also highly experienced in SIP, ICF and framed construction. Our drawing details are precise and allow contractors to build with ease no matter the building materials.

Jake is very experienced and knowledgeable about designs for mountain areas. He is easy to work with and is always prompt and available to answer questions. He worked with me at the site (50 minutes away) and followed up after construction. I would certainly use him again.

We hired Jake's Drafting to create building plans for a oversized 2 car garage with a Mother-In-Law quarters type set up in a walk-out basement. Jake & his assistant Kyle Bridger were easy to work with and did a nice job creating the plans. The only complaint was the cost of creating the plans. When we initially spoke it was suggested that for the building plans it would cost $2,000-$3,000 and when we got our final invoice it was over $6,000. Shame on us for not getting an estimate in writing in advance, but we feel like that also should have been provided by Jake so that disagreements at billing don't occur.

We hired Jake's drafting to help us figure out the remodel of our kitchen, bathroom and new entry. We never had plans for house but Jake and Kyle drew up original house plans and how our remodel could be configured to work and to make our home better. Their plans were very helpful to the various contractors that bid on the work. Jake and Kyle are professional, friendly, helpful and really know the drafting business. We would highly recommend Jake's Drafting to anyone considering building or remodeling.
