Home improvement

There is no better company to deal with than SandStar. They are honest and stand by their word. They do what it takes to make the job right. A true pleaser to deal with. In this day and age to find someone who is truly honest and trustworthy is hard to find. We are so happy we build are house with them and the follow up service is not second to anyone out there. Sandstar remodeled one bathroom and a two-story portion of our lanai, including the replacement of a balcony and the replacement of a window with a sliding door. We included the total painting of the house exterior. From the outset of our contact with the salesman to the conclusion of the project, I was pleased with communication, information, and quality of work. Their work crews were courteous, neat and knew what they were doing. There were a few surprises you might expect with remodeling work; like discovering an old (dead) termite infestation. But any surprises were brought to my attention right away with options for deciding how to proceed. The project worked well with suppliers and city inspectors, in spite of having to work around mitigation requirements for COVID-19. Still, the project was completed on time at the expected price. Does Sandstar cost more? Not that I could tell. Are they better than other contractors? Yes! This is not my first encounter with contractors.

From our initial meeting with Tom, we knew Sandstar was the company we would have remodel our master bathroom. His expertise was evident immediately and reassured us that our project would be completed in a professional and timely manner. Last minute updates were accomplished without incident and communication lines were continuously open. By far this is the most superior company we have had the pleasure to deal with, and in the future SandStar will be the only company to work in our home!!

Sandstar's work is incredible. Our kitchen redo looks even better than I had hoped it would. They were fun to work with, prompt and professional and I couldn't ask for more! We will definitely use them in the future for any remodeling we do, big or small jobs. Even though ours was not a large job, they treated us as if our job was just as important as a whole house remodel. They explained all the steps before they did them, and even finished ahead of their planned schedule. I would not hesitate recommending them to anyone. They took all the angst out of the project.
