Milton Development is the premier home builder in Fairfield County Connecticut. Seven years ago, we bought our first MILTON home. It was cutting edge and spectacularly planned. Ashley Schapiro pays incredible attention to the littlest detail. And the service we received over seven years was incredible and most unusual in the industry. Last year we bought another MILTON home at the beach. There is nothing like it in the area. It is very special, top to bottom. And again, MILTON and Ashley went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us. If you are thinking about building a custom home in Fairfield County, MILTON is absolutely tops!

Nightmare experience with Milton. We had 4 project managers in 6 months. Repeated problems with estimates/ budgeting caused major stress throughout the build. Milton recommended we switch to a more expensive contractor than initially scoped in the early stages of the job and promised to split the substantial cost increase. No credit was ever applied/ paid. In trying to address a major error/ oversight in the build, they first denied there was an error/ oversight. Then brazenly asked us to prove that we had repeatedly requested a specific material be used for over a year, which we did. We found the marketing around exceptional client experience to be hype and the response to issues pointed out to be both arrogant and inadequate. We finished the job with Bluewater.

We couldn't have been more pleased with the quality of workmanship, responsiveness throughout, and level of professionalism we encountered through all stages of our project. We still continue to receive excellent support from Milton even 2.5 years after closing on our house. We have no hesitation to recommend Milton to anyone looking to buy/build a home. I have been working with Milton development for over 15 years. It is clear that, relationship, quality, integrity and care is given to each and every project. They operate at a different level then most. A design center, project managers, in house architects and designers, and a office personal in tune and in control. They are an amazing firm that is driven on their clients satisfaction and I am proud to say I do business with them.
