Established in 1990, Jon Eric Christner Architect, Inc. has shared this art throughout Southern California, as well as in the northern bay area communities of Sausalito and Woodside, and across the Pacific on the beautiful island of Kauai. In the international forum, we were selected to share design concepts for the ‘Nasha Village’ development in the southern region of China. Our designs span varied architectural movements as my personal approach is never limited to singular design convictions. I have been introduced to an array of personal and cultural influences, with each project owner and each project scope offering their own unique characteristics and design challenges and as such, our designs vary from the traditional, to transitional (traditional with contemporary influences), to contemporary visions. It is an honor to share our architectural experience with not only our closest neighbors, but with those who visit from afar.

Working with Jon was one of the highlights during the process of remodeling our home. He showed up ahead of time, was always aware of any changes and presented ideas to us that we would have never thought of. Should we decide to remodel our back yard, he will most definitely be part of the process. He transformed our home built in 2001 into a gorgeous, up to date, contemporary beautiful home. Jon is incredibly knowledgable about laws, rules, city permits, etc. TOP NOTCH!

We worked with Jon on the complete rebuild of a 1970's attached home in Dana Point. The home was demolished and rebuilt. This was a time consuming and complicated process. There were many restrictions given the location of the home. Jon designed a practical and beautiful home for us that maximizes the useable space. Jon was patient and responsive throughout the process. It is hard to imagine getting this done without him.

We hired Jon to be the architect for our home in Shady Canyon, an exclusive neighborhood in Irvine, California. Jon quickly caught the vision of the type of home we wanted. He embraced many of our ideas and provided many of his own to design a beautiful home for us. He was professional, had a wonderful sense of design and was passionate about maintaining the integrity of our style of home which was Spanish Santa Barbara style. Jon worked really well with our builder, interior designer, and the rest of our team. Our whole experience was very positive from start to finish. We highly recommend Jon as an architect. Jon was the architect of our home. He was wonderful to work with. He was passionate, caring, thoughtful, and diligent. He thinks of every detail and takes pride in his work.
