PAD Architects are a London based architectural practice, specialised in providing contemporary residential and commercial design in London, Surrey and the South East. Paul Hughes and David Shaw established PAD Architects in January 2010, a partnership combining over 40 years of work in private architectural practice. This extensive collective knowledge allows them to offer high quality services to both private and commercial clients, supporting them throughout the process from initial design brief to building completion. Tailoring each project to the particular demands of the client and site, allows for a creative and personal response, resulting in a bespoke custom-made design. PAD’s objective is to provide contemporary yet timeless architectural solutions to meet, and hopefully exceed, the client’s expectations and visions, all the while subscribing to the financial and time demands of the client and site. Increasingly, their work is informed by sustainability and energy efficiency measures to meet the challenges of a low carbon future; PAD’s experience in successfully incorporating new technologies into their designs is of significant value to both the client and the environment.
