Shirry Dolgin was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and was exposed to a world of traveling and design from a very early age. She gained a strong work ethic from her dad who owned a General Construction company as well as her foundation and background in the performing arts.
Shirry has built a reputation as being one of the most knowledgeable Renovation Interior Designers to work with. Her style and design approach, product knowledge, and construction experience is the foundation of her success and she prides herself on giving each client an aesthetic that is unique to their project. Her clientele includes business owners, entertainment professionals, world class athletes, attorneys, and real estate developers. Shirry began her career after graduating Cum Laude from the highly prestigious “Fashion Institute for Design & Merchandising” in downtown Los Angeles. She worked with several design firms before opening a studio of her own in 2004.
Shirry’s main goal in every project is to clearly define an overall style, structure a plan to execute the project, and to oversee the project with her team to make it as smooth as possible. She always builds trust with the clients at an early stage so that the project can keep the momentum and deliver spectacular results.
In addition to her many residential and commercial projects, she has had the privilege of working on a variety of different television outlets. Her TV credits include a design and remodel segment on the KTLA morning show, an appearance on HGTV’s “Selling LA”, as well as a feature of her live/work office on “You Live In What?” for HGTV. She has done several episodes of “House Hunters Renovation”, and was a two-time winner on HGTV’s design competition show “Design Wars”. Her work has been featured in publications such as Trad Home and Apartment Therapy and she has had the privilege of giving back to the community by taking part in the charity design project “Good Shepherd Charity Design Project”. Her work has been published in “The Kitchen Bible” and has received the Best of HOUZZ in service and design for the last 6 years.
