In addition to a basement project, we also engaged Matt to gut and renovate an original, small full bathroom. For part of the project, we took a closet from an adjoining bedroom to expand the bathroom's footprint and made another closet in the room. Matt gave us multiple quotes depending on the scope of the project, we had a lot of ideas and Matt was patient in exploring all of them. He helped us to choose finishes and added some unique touches like a high quality pocket door. Matt and his team kept the space clean, made sure that the work was minimally disruptive to our family and home and finished on time and within the initial budget. We greatly enjoyed working with Matt and look forward to leveraging his expertise in our next projects.

Highly recommended! Exceptional workmanship, knowledge, and experience! We live in a 100+ year old home. MCW restored and repaired a pair of large double vestibule entry doors and an old large door in our hallway. The doors were in rough shape with sections of wood missing and were not closing or functioning properly. They sanded and repaired the doors, installed new hardware, and re-hung the doors so they now function again! They also installed new weather stripping to the 100+ year old doors so it is now warm in our hallway!

Incredibly responsive, well-priced, thorough, professional carpenter. Needed an outdated wet bar removed from a carpeted area and to have the wall re-sheetrocked, plastered, and painted. Came by our house to give us a quote, and got to work within a few days. Project took only 2 days to complete—on time and under budget. Will absolutely use MCW again.

I can't say enough great things about MCW Carpentry. Matt installed glass shelves for me in a built in wall unit in my home. He was professional, kind and worked with me to stay within my budget parameters. The work is flawless and I will definitely be calling Matt again for any carpentry projects in my home.

MCW Carpentry was greatt to work with. They help the customer from intial design to final project. I hired Matt as he had expierence with Wellborn cabinets. I had choosen this brand and i want to have a carpenter that worked with these cabinets. I was glad i did as one cabinet came in tto big and Matt was able to cut it down to size and you could never tell it was toiuched. Matt is a perfectionist and will make sure the job is done right. He also made me a custom oak spice rack that matched the kitchen cabinets perfectly. He also installed a arch and crown moldings. I would highly recoommed him for any carpentry job you are in need of.

Matt and his crew rebuilt my pergola that collapsed during Hurricane Sandy. He was able to design and rebuild it so it met the historical property requirements of the town. The pergola is as beautiful as it is sturdy. Matt is responsive and easy to work with.

Matt did our basement, kitchen and master bathroom. He is very professional and always willing to hear my ideas to incorporate them.
