My driveway was over 25 yrs old and the asphalt was coming apart. Not only was it unsightly but dirt was regularly tracked into the house. There was also an issue of drainage after rains which often backed up on my carport and drained into my neighbors yard. After consulting with several contractors considering both concrete and paver options, we chose Santa Rita Landscaping. The price for the pavers was only about $2000 more than concrete and provided a much more aesthetic look that matched our adobe block house. In addition, Ryan was the only one who offered a solution to the drainage problem which was to install a small drain in the tree swale and route the water via a 4 inch pipe to a lower point in my backyard which could water trees with the excess water. The workers did a great job in all stages of removal of the old asphalt, configuring the elevation so water would drain gently to a particular point, and carefully installing AB sand/gravel underlayment, then sand, then the pavers and finally a coat of fine sand between the pavers. I am very pleased with both the appearance of the finished product and its functionality. Many people have commented on how attractive and well done it is. the Crew was great to work with and kept me informed of progress and any issues along the way. I would highly recommend them for this type of work.

Very happy with the raised Patio and landscaping by Santa Rita. They developed a raised patio design I would not have come up with on my own and the workmanship was first class.

After reviewing several contractors, my wife and I contracted with Santa Rita Landscape (SRL) to design and complete a backyard project for a new home we purchased in Marana, AZ. From the design phase to the completed project, I have nothing but praise for how the job was handled. Rich Doering was insightful throughout the design phase and was extremely patient with us as we fine tuned the initial design. By the third draft we had what we wanted. The work began and finished in the time frame that was established, and the crews were fantastic to work with. Arriving each day at pretty much sunrise to start the work and at the end of the each day, the work areas were cleaned up and all trash/debris was removed. All the crews (landscape/patio pavers, barbeque, fire-pit, trenching, water system and others) were professional and knowledgeable. The foreman for the project, Ismael Valle, nicknamed (Smiley) was on top of the project in regard to the work crews, equipment, supplies, and schedule. He was accessible and easy to work with. I will note, as with any project of this scale, a few issues did occur. Smiley handled each issue and the discrepancies were immediately addressed and rectified. I was also a bit surprised to have the owner of the company (Richard) and his Vice President in charge of operations (Garrett) show up at the site one afternoon just to check in and see how everything was going. We spent some time talking and it was obvious to me that they were very genuine in the desire to ensure the project was going well and in the manner that I expected. A very personal touch that was much appreciated. In the end, the backyard looks great and we are of the opinion that we clearly made the right choice for our project. I would highly recommend Santa Rita Landscape (SRL) for any project you may be considering.

SANTA RITA LANDSCAPING REVIEW – My wife and I moved into a new community in NW Tucson and needed landscaping for a relatively small yard with a side entrance to the front door through a courtyard. The design would be challenging as the area doubled as a front entrance and back yard. We selected Santa Rita Landscaping based on their reputation as an industry leader with numerous awards since 1985 with over 10,000 completed projects. A company with that vast experience we felt quite comfortable selecting to handle the planning and design for our landscaping. They worked within our established budget, completed the job on time and the entire company was very customer service oriented and very accommodating to our needs and requests. They created a very unique and different plan including a small wrought iron bridge to connect the yard to an extended brick paver patio. It distinctly separated the difference between the front and back areas while giving us a great focal area from our picture window. We expected the best from Santa Rita Landscaping… and we got even better!

If you're looking for a southern Arizona-based landscaping company that does everything from cad design to the use of Local vegetation that is provided by a local grower you have come to the right place. I have worked with Santa Rita landscaping for many years and they have always been spectacular. They do perfect work every time. I would recommend them without reservation.

Garrett Hamm and the Team at Santa Rita Landscaping did an excellent job or a complete redesign of our back yard. Suggestions of what plants/trees to use, pavers, fire pit and lights were excellent! the job price was ver reasonable and the team did an excellent job in completing the work on time. One of the greatest thing they do after the job is done is sit down and spend whatever time necessary to supply and go over the Project Book which contains all of the plants used, the location of them all plus lights and drip system maps. In addition, they customize to your plants how to prune, when to prune, when to fertilize and phone numbers for anything you need to follow up on. This is a great tool to keep my yard looking spectacular. My wife and I love them!!

We hired Santa Rita Landscaping to do a major redesign of our front and back yards including installation. The entire process was handled very professionally from concept, to installation and to final check-off. Santa Rita listened carefully to our needs and desires and worked diligently to make sure that we ended up with a yard we loved. During all phases of the project we were informed as to what was happening next. The crew worked for over three weeks at our home. They were courteous and attentive. When we had concerns, Santa Rita responded quickly. When we decided to make tweaks to the plantings or layout, they accommodated our requests. The final project is beautiful and greatly enhances our property. We are more than satisfied with Santa Rita Landscaping and have recommended them several times to friends who have contemplated redoing their yards.

Santa Rita Landscaping (SRL for the remainder) did a great job in all aspects of our project: design, scheduling, quality of work, follow through and project close-out. Before finding SRL, my wife and I had three other landscapers who do a lot of work in our area come out and quote the project on our property. While most of these were professional encounters the quality of the work, the design aesthetics and the final prices (really the combination of the three) left a little to be desired. While looking for some design ideas on Houzz, we started building an ideabook of Arizona / southwestern garden spaces that tended to be more functional (we have a 1 yr old and two 70 pound dogs) and a little more modern than the standard and discovered that SRL was the primary example that we both liked most. After our initial meeting where we were able to lay out our priorities and actually view materials. A short while later the designers at SRL had done their work and we visited again to review the design. The folks there were very accommodating to my wife and myself. We made some on the fly changes which they priced for us before we left that day. SRL is a good sized operation, they're not just three guys and a truck; I say this because I was hugely impressed by being able to schedule only a few weeks, rather than months, in the future for the project start. This was also a big help to us because they were able to do our entire project in 2 weeks, whereas, the competition had quoted us 8-10 weeks. Putting it all in a summary, we love the design and the quality of craftsmanship, we greatly appreciated their ability to schedule their crews very well and get things done rapidly, we maybe paid a slight premium for the work (though they weren't the highest bidder), but the quality, professionalism and rapidity of the work really was worth it. One final comment, about two months after the project we were eating out and the co-owner was in the restaurant. He came over to our table to check on us and how everything was looking...great customer oriented business.
