BOWA and their fabulous team recently renovated and helped my design my dream kitchen. I have completed many renovation projects in the past, and honestly, this was by far the best project I have ever been a part of. From the beginning to the end, the team at BOWA (Lisa, Stephanie, Ken and Dylan) made the process both seamless and painless for me. Having Dylan, the project manager on site daily meant minimal interruptions in our life. He was professional, courteous and above all his craftsmanship and work ethic was second to none! I cannot say enough good things about my experience with BOWA and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

BOWA and their team of amazing professionals recently completed a kitchen and master suite renovation at our home. They absolutely nailed it! Everyone involved made sure the process went as smooth as possible, and with minimal interruption to our busy lives. Their workmanship was meticulous and as a result, the final product is well beyond our expectations. Our project manager, Tom, kept us informed every step of the way, and ensured the job site was clean and swept every day. Of particular note is that anytime I would raise concerns with him, he already knew about it and had addressed it. Every, single, time! The entire BOWA team is trustworthy, reliable, and extremely professional. Remodeling can stressful under any circumstances, and it is rare to find a firm who you trust to listen to your needs and get everything done within the agreed time frame and budget. BOWA is that firm. If you're considering them for new construction or a remodel, look no further. I highly recommend them.

Bowa is the best! They exceeded our expectations at every stage of our home renovation project (new flooring, trim, staircase, fireplace, doors, kitchen cabinet rehab, light fixtures, and siding). Our project leader, Steve, was extremely helpful as we considered and prioritized various upgrade projects. Caroline guided us through all the interior design / style choices and helped us get the updated look we sought. And our project managers, Ken and Tyler, oversaw the construction and just made everything go smoothly. The onsite management was invaluable and we never felt like we had to monitor things to make sure it was done properly. This was a our second renovation project -- our experience 12 years ago taught us that things don't always go as planned. But Ken/Tyler anticipated issues and resolved them with limited involvement on our part and with little/no scope/timeline impact. If you are looking for a company to help make your project go as planned with the highest quality - I have confidence that you will love BOWA based on our experience.

We have remodeled four houses, two in the last six years in the DC area. All four contractors were professional and did solid work, but we had never experienced the customer service and attention to detail that we received from BOWA. BOWA delivered on schedule and on-budget. We lived in the house during the BOWA remodel - the crew made that easy and accommodated us in every way possible.

We are repeat BOWA customers and are just as happy with our Master Bath and Closet renovation completed in March as we were with our kitchen renovation from 5 yrs ago. BOWA renovated our basement and designed and built our pool and pool house. We had an amazing, professional team. The results of each project were beautiful living spaces. We developed a relationship and continue to call upon their services for advice and other needs around our home.

Working with BOWA was an incredible experience. If you are looking for quality construction and a company who stands behind their work then hire BOWA. The team was professional and schedule and budget oriented which was really nice. We had a tight deadline and the team bent over backwards to meet our deadline and get us back in our home. As with any new home or renovation project there are always problems, delays and issues that arise. The BOWA team that we worked with was clear and upfront with us about all change orders and options that were available to us. You will notice the attention to detail and best in class team members. BOWA completely transformed the main floor of our home, helping us say goodbye to a dark, tired, and dated living area -- and hello to a bright, cheerful, open floor plan. Our primary objective had been to create a more functional kitchen, with additional sinks, ample counter space, updated cabinets, and better appliances. We had initially thought to enlarge the kitchen by moving the front wall of the home outward, and we accordingly consulted several remodeling contractors. BOWA was the only contractor to tell us the significant potential downsides of that plan, and the BOWA design team came up with a much better idea that involved switching the location of the dining room and the kitchen and then bumping out the side wall of the house, not the front. The result is a lovely dining room with large bay window and an adjacent living room that's open to the kitchen. The new kitchen is a chef's dream, which I can truly say because I am a certified chef! The large skylights over the island provide natural light that fully illuminates the workspace, even on a cloudy day. The cabinets have many built-in features that make organizing easy. One of the best amenities in our new area is a casual dining area that was created by installing a countertop peninsula between the kitchen and living room. We also love having multiple sinks and double ovens, which enable us to easily prepare several dishes at the same time. In summary, we are extremely pleased with the beauty and functionality of our new living space. Many kudos to Bobby, who managed the design process for us. As for the construction process, BOWA assigned a first-rate construction manager named Alex, who arrived at our house early each day to ensure that appropriate progress was made and that quality remained high. Other members of the team (Steve and Ken) met with us each week to review progress, outline next steps, and answer any questions. They were also always thinking about ways to minimize the disruption of our lives caused by the construction. Our project was started in the coldest part of the winter, and with much of our home open to the elements at that time, we could have been extremely cold. But Alex came up with the brilliant idea of constructing a temporary wall so that the other areas of our home remained warm and cozy. We heartily recommend BOWA if you are looking for a high-quality and frustration-free remodeling experience.

My husband and I were so impressed by BOWA. This is our 7th reno and it couldn't have gone any smoother. They renovated a pre-war co-op for us in DC. They inform you of all the costs upfront so no surprises! It was such a great experience i wanted to buy a bigger place and start all over again! Hire them. You will not be disappointed.

BOWA did an excellent job renovating our 1880 Capitol Hill home. At every turn they were supportive, creative and above all, dependable. All of our interactions, from design through completion, were with people who embodied integrity and thoughtfulness. We will be looking to work with BOWA again as we update other rooms in our home, but for now, our kitchen and back patio are amazing!
