BETWIXTdesign is a landscape and interior design boutique comprised of brother-sister duo, Milan & Megan Cronovich. They specialize in creating organic, modern, and eclectic spaces that promote warmth, tranquility, and a touch of whimsy. Megan, an introvert, loves the outdoors. Milan, an extrovert, loves interiors. They grew up on a farm in rural Michigan, where they were influenced by its vast landscapes, their grandparents' midcentury heirlooms, folk music albums, and their very boisterous family. Even though they live apart, they often wear matching clothes unwittingly. They service areas from Los Angeles to San Diego.

The fee range for our projects can vary depending on our client's specific needs, though our typical fees are $5000+, we can also prepare options for clients looking to spend less. For these smaller projects we are able to consult on an hourly basis or prepare basic conceptual drawings (not to scale). I had both front and backyards designed, and then installed by Megan Cronovich. She did an outstanding job in plant selection and worked closely with me throughout the project. My place looks amazing, where I can’t stop getting compliments from everyone that passes or drives by.

In fifteen years of home ownership I don't think I have ever had such a pleasant and successful experience as the one we had with Megan and Milan of BETWIXTdesign. We brought them in to help fill in gaps in our landscaping, though the project ended up being a bit bigger than we had planned (our fault; not theirs). They listened to what we wanted while also making creative suggestions. It was a collaborative process that resulted in a design we were all excited about. When the landscaping crew did the planting, Megan and Milan were on site to facilitate the entire project. As problems arose—and let's face it, problems always arise when you're doing home improvements—they were able to trouble-shoot on the spot making the whole process run smoothly. The end result—which includes a gorgeous succulent wall—is amazing. We could not be happier!

Betwixt design did an amazing job turning our construction site into an absolutely beautiful yard. It’s gorgeous but also functional. Megan was very easy to work with and made as many “design boards” as my husband and I needed to feel comfortable with the design plan. Would highly recommend Betwixt Design!

We recently remodeled our home and were in need of major landscaping. We had a front yard full of mulch and backyard that was a little tricky to navigate due to a pool and specific areas that could be landscaped. Megan was referred to us and we immediately hit it off. She was super easy to work with. My husband and I have 2 children and we wanted to be sure our landscaping went with the modern look of our home, but yet kid-friendly. We were also concerned about having drought tolerant plants/flowers and she really spent a lot of time sending us several options. We receive many compliments on our landscaping. We would highly recommend Megan. She's very professional, reliable, and knowledgeable.

We love our new backyard! BETWIXT came by and gave us a consultation and then followed up with a couple of different options and helped us decide. They also helped us incorporate our patio area and design into the project which really tied in well with the yard. (A huge help was the document that they sent to help us visualize the choices and the final result...sometimes it can be hard to picture in advance.) Now that it is done you can't keep us out of our yard...even when its cold! (Pics to come)

Megan has been great to work with. She helped on the initial design of our front yard remodel, and now helps us as we fill-in the garden over time. She is always accessible, reliable and fair. She also has a great understanding of plants and their needs. What I also love is that when she comes for fill ins she takes it upon herself to give some of the other plants some extra TLC.
