Collected Spaces was founded in Chicago, however it has made its roots in Rhode Island. As a native of Vermont, I longed to be back in New England amongst its rich history and bucolic landscapes. That dream became a reality in early 2019 when opportunity knocked and we found ourselves relocating to the smallest state in the Union. One thing has not changed since Collected Spaces began and that is the uncompromising design services that each client receives. My approach to interior design helps you meet today’s needs while anticipating how your future ones may evolve. It is based on intelligent use of materials and space to create a design that's right and unique for you. I pride myself on listening and helping you get everything you want out of your renovation, design or decorating project. So when your vision comes to life, you'll have a place that you're proud of. A place where people are welcomed and memories are made; the final pieces that transform a place into a home. DESIGN CONCEPT Create space plan designs and renderings that ensure you achieve your vision for your home. INTERIOR SPECIFICATIONS Select and source furnishings, accessories, lighting, color and fabric palette that completes your vision. CUSTOM CABINETRY AND FURNITURE Design Custom cabinetry and furniture to give you that high-end one of a kind look. PURCHASING Manage the placement of merchandise orders, tracking shipments, handling delivery and installation. RENOVATION & ADDITIONS Redesign existing spaces and create new ones so your home provides the look and functionality you need it to.

Having moved to a new home in a new city, we needed an interior designer with local sources. We were thrilled to find Dale Rainville of Collected Spaces. Dale has a phenomenal eye, and he transformed rooms with 13-foot ceilings into a cozy library and living rooms. Dale enhanced the original space with new book cases. He incorporated lighting and design details to echo the architectural details of our home. Before we moved Dale ordered several pieces of furniture and coordinated the deliveries in our absence. He worked on the lighting designs and coordinated installments with an electrician. And to warm up some rooms Dale designed custom window seats for which he provided an attractive array of fabrics for us to choose from. He also installed several pieces of artwork, recombining pieces of our collection to great effect. We're thrilled with the outcome of the project and couldn't recommend Dale more highly. He is knowledgeable, personable, responsive and overall a pleasure to work with.

Highly recommend Dale for your home design projects. My wife and I have keen but disparate home styling sensibilities -- an independent 3rd party is a must in these types of situations. Dale was able to quickly step in, interview and listen to us, and provide a rendering that reflected the intersection of our vision. This enabled us to quickly identify the contracting and furnishing required to complete the project. Top tier expertise and very affable.

We have just begin to work with Dale for our new home on the shore of Narragansett Bay in Portsmouth, RI. We have been selecting all of the counters, colors and fixtures well ahead of the construction. He has an immediate sense of our preferences and is an expert guiding us away from mistakes. He joined us for all the showroom visits and was able to creatively pull things together so that we feel we are well on our way. We look forward to working with Dale through out all phases of the project especially how to integrate all of the spaces into a very special coastal home.

I’ve worked with Dale Rainville from Collected Spaces for two projects and both experiences were excellent. Dale made the process seamless by evaluating the space, listening to my wish list/budget parameters, and coming up with creative ideas that transformed the rooms beyond my expectations. I especially love the vision board choices that make his ideas come to life. Best of all, Dale is fun to work with! No stress and always an upbeat mood. I highly recommend Collected spaces.

Dale helped us design and decorate our entire home. Before we even moved into the space, he toured it with us, developed concepts and storyboards, etc. He truly listened to our wants/needs, and figured out creative ways to incorporate our "must haves." He saw the project through, from start to finish, and always with a wonderful attitude. I truly can't speak highly enough of Dale and his talent.

I am having a wonderful experience working with Collected Spaces. Dale listened to our ideas, designed idea boards at different price points so that we can stay within our budget and guided us with decision making. He also takes the time to repurpose or relocate existing pieces of furniture incorporating some into the overall redesign. Most importantly, I feel that things continue to move along and appreciate his level of communication regarding order status. Not only does Dale have a great eye for design, but he is very well organized. What a pleasure it has been to work with such a professional!

Dale is a fantastic interior designer. He has great taste, but is also able to work within the constraints of the likes and dislikes of his clients. He always had great recommendations and lots of choices. He is also super responsive making it so easy to work with him. I especially liked that he has vetted different vendors and is able to call them to get information and appointments. I highly recommend Dale to anyone who is looking to update their homes.

It has been such a pleasure to work with Dale renovating my kitchen. He is so professional and proficient. Always solution oriented. I could not have found the perfect backsplash and floor without his help and advise. Dale always guided my choices in a respectful and welcoming way. He really goes above and beyond to help, even with other issues encountered. He made a visit to my house and even helped with other decorating ideas. Dale always keeps in touch and answers his texts. Dale is absolutely fabulous to work with! He has great expertise and can really guide you through the whole interior design process. We moved into a much larger home and I didn't have the skills or the time to furnish and decorate the whole space myself. Dale was great at inspiring me to take some risks and have fun with the whole process. We love the way our home looks and feels!!
