Working with BDS has been the best experience we have had with a contractor (we have built two homes, built an addition, and renovated two times prior with others.) BDS communicated clearly and thoroughly at each step. We were away but the communication via call, text, email, build app and FaceTime was impeccable and easy. They worked with us to enclose a vaulted ceiling, install a light for that dining area and then create a larger master bath and closet en suite upstairs. They guided with selections of light, plumbing, hardware, flooring, cabinets and closets. They allowed us to choose our look. Bryan checked the site frequently and John was there every day. They kept the site neat and safe during COVID-19 too. All the subcontractors were very respectful towards our family when we were there and to our neighbors. I cannot say enough great things about the high quality and professionalism at BDS; a true joy to work with.

Our experience with a bathroom remodel through BDS was exceptional in every way! We are thrilled with the results and every encounter was a class act. We were amazed by the cleanup done after every step, and the consideration always given by the workers when we were at home. For us, the best part was the design help as we are not very creative and not good at picking colors, styles, etc. The resulting bathroom is perfect! We will use BDS again for future work needed in the house--they are terrific.

BDS completed extensive renovations to our house, including a new kitchen, new master bath, new flooring throughout and paint. We are thrilled with the results! Bryan and his team were professional and easy to work with. We were extremely happy with our entire project with BDS from start to finish. They designed a very creative solution to reinforce a structural beam in our main living space. BDS created a well thought-out construction plan, communicated it well, and met their proposed timeline. There were no cost overruns and minimal impact on surrounding rooms. We would definitely use them again for other projects and would highly recommend them to friends (in fact already have). Their work was superb and truly transformed the space. It was everything we could have hoped for in the project.

We hired BDS to help us renovate a home we just recently moved into in downtown Libertyville. Bryan and his team walked us through multiple creative options to update our kitchen and to create a usable space for our upstairs bonus room. We had multiple meetings to ensure they heard our voice and were executing the optimal plan to meet our needs. After agreeing to the scope of work, we were assigned a fantastic project leader who managed all of the day to day trade work and kept us informed on progress. All of the trades that BDS brought in for our project did excellent work and stood by their work. For example, we noticed some sections of our bar counter top that were not installed properly by the marble vendors. Bryan brought back the owner and showed him the problem and together they agreed to replace the area with a new counter top with no charge to us. It was a great example of the level of detail and satisfaction that BDS expects from their trade partners! Our renovation started in late August/early September and needed to be completed by 11/16 to be ready for us to host 25 people for Thanksgiving. Bryan and the BDS team made that happen and we received nothing but complements on the kitchen and bonus room/bar renovations. I would highly recommend using BDS on renovation projects and would not hesitate to hire BDS again for my next home project!

We moved into our current house 8 years before hiring BDS, and thought a lot about what we would want to change and shape in the space. Throughout the remodel project, Bryan and the team helped us to make those thoughts into reality. We debated for a long time whether we would stay in this house or move - and now we're thrilled to be here. BDS truly made our house into our forever home.

It was a pleasure working with Bryan and everyone at BDS. We replaced all trim and doors, stained the floor, replaced the stairway, replaced carpet with hardwood, painted all rooms, remodeled the laundry room, hall bath and pantry. The entire house got a face lift. The initial contact was prompt and all presentations and paperwork was detailed and professional. I really appreciated having the detailed calendar to track the daily activities. Susan, the designer, helped with decision making and style choices and really moved the project along. The sub-contractors were all good. Any small issues we had were resolved quickly. I enjoyed working with Bryan, would use him again and would recommend him to others.

Bryan Slowick the owner of the company pays attention to every little detail and we appreciated that. It has now been one year and we are still in love with our kitchen.
