Jarrod is not just a Landscape Architect he is truly an artist. If you want your garden to not look like everyone else's in town, this is the team for you. He really knows how to make a design that works amazing with your home while listening to what is important to you. We just finished our front yard and random people are coming up to me (in front of our house, at our kids school, etc.) and giving me compliments. We are beyond happy with the end result! And everyone on his team is lovely and great to work with as well. Seamless from start to finish!

Over the years, we have done 5 significant landscape projects, all with different designers, all successful. The 5th project, which we did with Zeterre, was the best. Jarrod Baumann is an artist. It was a privilege and an inspiration to work with him. Toni Kramer is a great project manager. Our garden is sublime.

We were originally swept away with Jarrod/Zeterre's amazing design from his portfolio of projects here on Houzz - he is a talented designer and we knew he'd propose something unique for our home. We reached out to his company to make sure our scope/budget for our 1-acre property was something within their wheelhouse. They confirmed it was in their mid-line range of projects they take on, so we moved forward and met with them. We talked to several other designers and in the end chose Jarrod - I was beyond excited to get to work with him and his amazing design skills! Jarrod is a true artist. His vision for our property came to life and we love our end result! .

Jarrod is clearly a talented designer, but it was unfortunately not a good fit.. Thought it didn't work out, his portfolio and stellar reviews certainly suggest that he and his team do exceptional work.

Suzman Designs advised us on our garden. The garden was part of a midcentury house which was originally intended to be a Japanese house. Stephen Suzman kept the Japanese feel of the garden while integrating what we wanted in a garden. Both my husband and I were impressed by Stephen's breadth and depth of knowledge of all the fauna and flora. Stephen listened to our ideas; integrated most of our ideas in the garden (with a bit of refinement) and told us what would not work. This advice was invaluable. Stephen was also very practical and did no tear out everything and start from scratch; he tried to keep as much of the garden as possible (relocating rocks and stones, keeping most of the plants and relocating some of the plants). After the landscaping for the front of the house was done, we had compliments from the neighbors. One neighbor even wrote us a note thanking us for improving the landscaping. I don't think there is anyone out there more knowledgeable and creative the Suzman Designs - their work speaks understated elegance.

Working with Jarrod is like working with an artist. If you want something of the shelf and nothing creative then there is no use going to Zeterre but if one wants creativity, out of the box and unique then Zeterre is the landscape design company for you. I loved working with Jarrod on all the projects that we have been involved in. It has be a true collaboration and creative drive.

Stephen Suzman and Suzman Design Associates were responsible for redesigning our garden after we acquired the neighboring lot. He did a wonderful job listening to my wife and I and incorporating our particular tastes. They were able to finesse complicated access and grading problems and after only a couple of years the garden has matured beautifully. We are delighted with the results and would not hesitate to recommend him and his firm.

We have worked with SDA on numerous projects over the years and have found their service to premier. What I particulary like is their ability to quickly understand the Architectural concept and are able to amplify the idea with their design skills. What is a rare in SDA is the ability to have a strong design concept that is complemented by down to earth technical knowledge.

Since I build custom homes in the Los Gatos-Saratoga area I expect my own home to reflect a certain degree of style and quality. Jarrod's talents for creating an edgy and attractive garden communicates that very nicely. The low water plants chosen convey beauty and interest through their complementing and contrasting shapes and colors. Jarrod and his people were on time and professional as promised.

We've been working with Suzman Design for quite a few years now and they been nothing but the best. We've done Construction for some of Suzman Design's projects and they come out spectacular. We always look forward to working with Stephen and his team.
