Mike Grimm, Silverton's seasoned founder has been in the construction industry for over 40 years. He assembled a talented team and formed Silverton Custom Homes in 1993. Silverton Custom Homes was recommended to me by a friend in the real estate business. This whole experience could not have run any better. Jason and the team did an amazing job to meet our needs (and whims!) We always felt heard, understood and very well advised. We appreciated Silverton team’s work ethic and incredible kindness. Our project manager, Coby, was just the best in liaising with us and his contractors. We are strongly recommending Silverton Custom Homes to be your next home builder.

Since I was trying to manage the construction of my new home in Texas from Pennsylvania it was crucial to me to work with a reliable builder. Needless to say there will always be a few bumps in the road, especially with long distance communication, but I can't imagine a builder who would have been more willing to remedy all issues as smoothly, efficiently, and in a timely manner as Silverton. It made the entire process a great experience. I absoutely LOVE my new home!

Nothing but great things to say about Silverton Custom Homes. Professional and nice personnel from the top down. Mike Grimm runs an honest, high quality business and works with you up front to try and build the house you want at the price point you are shooting for. Most importantly, in my opinion, is the "service after the sale" . Silverton's site personnel are the best I have ever been involved with, and were at our house during the build process every single time we asked them to meet us there to discuss anything. Silverton stands by their end product and has coordinated with their contractors to get any issues we may have encountered after moving in handled with no questions asked. When building a 100% custom home, there are always going to be challenges along the way, but SIlverton did a wonderful job of handling everything. We are very pleased with our new home and would recommend Silverton Custom Homes to anyone looking for a high quality custom home.

Silverton built our home and have now performed two additional remodeling projects. These folks are honest and committed to building beautiful homes. For us, they delivered what they promised on time and on budget. They actively managed the projects and used reliable subs/workers. They work hard to meet all expectations. We relied on their expertise to give us ideas and guidance on how to make the projects better. We highly recommend the entire team.

Silverton worked with my wife and I to design and construct our new home in 2015 / 16. The project consisted of a main house roughly 5000 square feet (which was a new structure) and a renovation of an existing 4 bedroom home roughly 3500 square feet into a 4 car garage. The quality of their subcontractors was great and they continued to follow up to make sure everything was right for a year after we moved in. We would recommend Silverton to others.

Mike and Fred were great! Mike is an upfront gut who really cares about quality. Fred reworked many items in the house to get it right, based on his standards. Together we all have a great deal of pride in our lovely custom home!

Their attention to detail was clear from the beginning. I truly appreciate the direct communication with the person in charge of our project. He was very professional, polite and quick to respond to our questions. The people that work in the office were top notch, as well. I would not hesitate to recommend them to a friend.

Silverton Custom Homes turned a house that had been never been completed by the previous builder and sat vacant for 7 years into a wonderful home. The project consisted of completely gutting the interior, adding a bedroom and bath, building a deck and exterior work. They listened to what we wanted, made suggestions on how to cut expenses when needed and were accurate on timeframes and costs.

All workers and subcontractors performed with quality workmanship, from Lee, the project manager and his prep team; the tape and float contractor; the painters; and the flooring contractor. All were first class from timely and quality professional workmanship.

I contracted with Silverton to build my home in Jonestown, Texas. I was living 5 hours away at the time. Building a home long distance is a challenge. Silverton made every effort to help me through the process. This is the first home that I have built and they were very professional and patient with me as we worked through the details. I am very happy and pleased with the home that they built for me.
