We did a complete kitchen update. We worked with Karen Marrs, President of High County Kitchens. She was amazing, her suggestions were right on target with what we wanted. She would meet us at the different vendors to pick out tile, granite, etc. She had worked up a complete blueprint before we actually hired her. And once we did, everything went just as planned. Her knowledge of the materials was outstanding and we feel we got the greatest quality for our money. She had many small tips that helped in our planning also. She was always courteous, available and extremely helpful. Her subcontractors were also courteous, careful and paid good attention to details. I would HIGHLY recommend her for any remodeling.

Purchased cabinets from High Country Kitchens as part of a major remodel project. The cabinets replaced those in the kitchen, kitchen island, wet bar, family room and three bathrooms. High Country Kitchens was very helpful in understanding which cabinets and cabinet options were available, and what made sense for our project. Also received help with design and color coordination of granite and tile, as well as cabinet hardware and plumbing accessories such as faucets. After sale service was excellent, including replacement of some drawer faces due to installation problems, plus hinge upgrades done on-site. This was a large project, ten months in duration. I recomment High Country Kitchens without reservation.

In 2011 we began building a large home. High Country Kitchens was recommended to us by both our builder and our designer. We met with them and were so impressed with their personnel, selection and accomodating manner that we never looked any further. Their pleasant and accessible staff worked tirelessly through our many iterations on the kitchen, bar areas, bathrooms, laundry and craft room. At each turn they provided us with drawings of our revised plans within hours. They made themselves available through every stage of the cabinet planning, installation and follow-up. We built a new home in 2012, and High Country Kitchens did all of our kitchen, bathrooms, bar, and laundry room cabinets. All of the ladies at High Country Kitchens were wonderful to work with, and helped us so much throughout the entire building process. They were always knowledgeable, professional, and enjoyable while we were picking out styles and figuring out what kind of cabinets to put where. High Country quality designed our master bath remodel with careful attention to our input, was instrumental in helping us select the all important finishes, passed along a number of their cost savings to us, put us in touch with a good quality, affordable general, and continued monitoring the job, solving some materials problems that arose in the process. We were very pleased with their knowledge, professionalism, and friendliness.

All the women at High Country Kitchens were fabulous! On our kitchen remodeling project, they stayed on top of every detail, were very knowledgeable and creative, and generally made the project a pleasure. They provided excellent recommendations for appliance, plumbing, and tile vendors. We used one of their recommended construction contractors who not only did great work, but was very reasonably priced. Their cabinet selections are beautiful and really high-quality. Karen had some great ideas for small aesthetic details that made a huge difference. When we learned that we didn't have the right amount of one type of tile, and thought that would delay installation by about a week, Karen somehow came up with what we needed - the next day! Everyone at HCK has endless energy and good cheer. I'm really happy and grateful for all they did for us.

Our kitchen and bathroom exceeded our expectations by a wide margin. They were extremely knowledgeable about design and products and were very patient and understanding about numerous changes we made. I would recommend them to anyone.

We were living 2 states away during the time that we planned and built our home. Karen took the magazine pictures I had cut out and listened to my ideas...then she showed us so many different options within our budget. The end product has so much character that I feel like I am in a cozy bistro. My husband and I were so pleased with the kitchen cabinetry that we asked Karen to also do the design drawings for our master bath, guest bath and powder room. She designed our great room glass front cabinets as well, which carried the character of the kitchen into the rest of our home. Karen and Sharon helped to take the stress out of our long distance home building experience. I would highly recommend High Country Kitchens to anyone building a home in Northern Colorado!

My husband and I came to Karen and her team at High Country Kitchens after poor experiences at two other Denver area kitchen design providers. We already knew what we wanted in terms of cabinet style and color, but needed assistance in the design, specifically maximizing space, but balancing cost. Karen delivered! Tons of cabinets, including many drawers, both with the soft-close features, and she stayed in our $15k budget. No one was pushy, even with payment. We provided a deposit and then back after delivery for additional payment. I believe we came to the store to pay 7-10 days after delivery during this time never received any phone calls or emails reminding us an invoice was due. The cabinets arrived right on time and the installer (Joel) was excellent. There was quite a bit of drama with our general contractor and Karen, her extended team, and Joel were all very patient with answering our questions (even calling the manufacturer for verification) and quelling our fears. And when the manufacturer refused to replace 2 doors that did not fit (said they provided doors based on measurements provided), Karen ordered these for us at her cost. This gesture really meant a lot to us. The cost was only $200, but every dollar counts when you are doing a big renovation. Excellent customer service to ensure the job was done right with minimal stress to us. We absolutely love our kitchen. Its beautiful and functional! My husband doesn't know how he lived without double ovens and I now cannot live without the soft-close cabinets and drawers. We would highly recommend High Country Kitchens.

This family friendly establishment did a kitchen remodel for us that exceeded our expectations! Not only did the owner work side by side with us for the entire project, she made sure every detail was taken care of. We had no idea how much work would be involved, and they took care of everything, from tearing out the existing cabinets, flooring, even a wall! We appreciated the fact that we were treated as people, not just a faceless project.
