Her studies at MSU reflected her interests in design, art history, and music. Diverse experiences in spinning, weaving, pottery, welding and painting emerge in her designs and mirror her appreciation for things made by hand, vintage finds, and exceptional art. Starting a new project can be daunting and overwhelming. Working with a professional can demystify design and help determine where to spend and save money. Christine understands that design is a creative, evolving process where unexpected outcomes are embraced and explored and that the relationship between practical efficiency with an exceptional experience is valued.

We had been in the planning process for over 2 years and were lost in all the different possibilities for our renovation until we walked in Klingsman's in Holland and found Chris. She saved us so much money and time by pointing us in the right direction on colors, sizes, materials, etc. We are so excited to see the final project come to fruition.

Chris Freeman is the ultimate professional. She has been integral in the design and construction of our two houses, as well as my office building. Her designs were superior to the architect's and thereby saved us considerable unnecessary charges and hastened the projects. Chris Freeman worked with us on every step in the process of a new build. Chris took the time to really listen and get to know our family and our needs for our home. She isn't just creative, she thinks outside the box, and understands the importance of details. Our house is uniquely us and has been well lived in as intended. Chris knows the process, is patient, respectful and most importantly she is honest. No two projects look the same, every client is unique and so is the finished project. That is the sign of a great designer, nothing cookie cutter. She is organized, professional, and efficient. Someday we will downsize and I look forward to going through the process of a remodel or new build again with Chris.

We have built two homes with Chris and also worked with her on a major addition and I can honestly say anyone who does not believe they could absolutely LOVE their home has never worked with Chris Freeman! Chris worked with us for months on how we function before the projects even started. We have three children so we often function with chaos but Chris created environments that allow for organization and comfort. She worked within our budget but the quality and beauty cannot even be described adequately with words. People come into our home in awe of the detail but the absolute best compliment that we consistently receive is that our home feels more like a home than any other place they have ever been. If you would like a one of a kind place to live, we highly recommend you hire Chris as she is most definitely one of a kind! You will live in a beautiful, unique work of art that feels comfortable, organized, and you will always look forward to coming HOME!!!
